Hazra Mallu
Senior Podiatrist
Hazra Mallu is a highly experienced senior podiatrist at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, with a proven track record across both the public and private healthcare sectors. She brings a comprehensive approach to foot health, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of conditions affecting the feet and nails.
Her clinical expertise covers everything from complex wound care, vascular and rheumatological foot issues, to diabetic foot complications. Hazra is also skilled in managing skin and nail conditions, including fungal infections, nail disorders, and verrucae. She regularly performs minor surgical procedures such as nail surgery for ingrown toenails and provides tailored care for patients of all ages—ranging from children with foot trauma to adults with chronic pain or ongoing wound care needs.
With a compassionate, patient-centered approach and a commitment to clinical excellence, Hazra is dedicated to improving mobility, comfort, and quality of life for every patient she treats.
Daud Abdirahman
MSK Specialist & Biomechanics Lead
Daud Abdirahman is a musculoskeletal (MSK) specialist with extensive clinical experience from his time at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. His expertise spans advanced podiatric care, including nail surgery, wound management, and high-level rehabilitation for complex foot and lower limb conditions.
As the clinic’s lead in biomechanics and gait analysis, Daud brings a unique perspective shaped by his background as a high-level athlete. After a career-ending back injury, he was introduced to podiatry and biomechanics an experience that inspired his transition into healthcare. Today, he combines clinical knowledge with first-hand understanding of injury, pain, training, and recovery.
Daud’s approach integrates physical conditioning, sports psychology, and tailored treatment plans to help individuals from athletes to everyday patients achieve pain relief, improved mobility, and peak performance as efficiently and effectively as possible.
